First and foremost, your job is to come in every day with a positive attitude and contribute to the culture around you in our Toronto office.
Our ideas can take many different forms so your job or area of expertise is Art Direction, and that will be your speciality and your craft but not limited to that. Be it a coupon, a website, a radio spot, a phone app, a TV commercial, a billboard, ambient stunt, online video episodes, or an event, you are expected to make it look, sound and flow great. And sometimes, you will be required to get involved in production too. We are a creative shop that prides ourselves on doing the unthinkable, and sometimes our ideas may take you away from the traditional channels and suppliers, so you will also play a role in finding a way to make it happen. You will have lots of help here, but we all play a role.
You and your copywriter partner will work in tandem as well as have the flexibility to work alone or with others from the larger team.
We are looking for a candidate with 6+ years experience who brings a genuine interest in everything we do. Discover what our clients’ business is all about and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Dig into who their competitors are and what they stand for. And, of course, keep current with what is relevant to the consumer so that we can always find fresh ways to connect with them.
We are big on sharing information and ideas, and we do it on a regular basis.
In short, be smart and do it better than anybody else.
